Description

LUAU KALAMAKU – No Transportation Included

A HAWAIIAN EXPERIENCE

Luau Kalamaku is an unforgettable experience and a “must- see” for any visitor. The twice-weekly extravaganza has welcomed guests since 2007 and is the state’s only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering great views from every seat.

Come early and stroll the grounds of this beautiful plantation. Enjoy meeting Kauai’s local crafters and browsing through their handmade wares. Luau Kalamaku has something for everyone and something unique! We have all the traditional luau elements, the ono Hawaiian food, a dramatic torch lighting and imu ceremony, Tahitian rhythms, Hawaiian games, fantastic music and traditional hula!

Following dinner, the cast takes the stage for the 45-minute main show to tell the amazing story; the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku (child of the new land) and the epic voyage taken by islanders between Tahiti and Kauai along one of the longest sea roads of Polynesia. Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.
